SPANKALICIOUS (Cincinnati, OH) www.spankalicious.bandcamp.com In 2011 Spank played more than 100 shows, traveling more than 90,000 miles, meeting amazing people while attempting to spread a message of higher awareness and social consciousness. From sunrise sets in the French Quarter of New Orleans to the 4:20 set at Wakarusa 2011, and many places in between, Spanky has been consistently rocking parties at every stop. Playing alongside every major cutting edge act in livetronica, bass music, electro, and hip-hop (Pretty Lights, Caspa, Borgore—the list goes on) as well as several major festival appearances including Sonic Bloom, Bassnectar’s First Bass Center, Camp Euforia, and more. Spankalicious already in 2012 made his triumphant return this year’s Summer Camp Music Festival, as well as make his debut at The Manifestation Celebration in Dallas, the inaugural IMPULSE Music Festival in Georgia, and the blowout Camp Bisco XI in upstate NY alongside some of the biggest acts of today. An extensive background in rudimental percussion and drumline allows Spank to read rhythms inside and out and even incorporate live drumming into his sets. With musical influences ranging from the Grateful Dead and Phish to U.G.K. and Three Six Mafia, Spanky has found his niche in his world of Glitchy Hippie Psychedelic Bounce. 2012 has seen the release of Psychedelic Boogaloo Intervention, his third studio album. Recently, Spankalicious unveiled his signature hat from Grassroots California, which was paired with a huge performance at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, Colorado. Right now, all eyes are on the upcoming Do Magical Things North American Tour. BITCH PLEASE (Atlanta, GA) www.bitchpleasemusic.com Bitch Please is the ghetto glam bastard child of Atlanta based producer Charles F. Moreland III. It was hatched in the backwoods of Kentucky, when Charles wanted to combine his love for Top 40 R&B/Hip Hop mixed with his passion of creating bass driven beats and remixes. Ranging between electro, dubstep, drum n bass and house music, Bitch Please has no problem changing up the tempo several times during a set. The idea of Bitch Please is simple: Stunner shades, champagne flowing, fur coats, and surprise remixes and vocal samples that bring back memories of drinking boxed wine in your car and getting hype to the new Master P track blasting on the radio. Bitch Please has shared the stage with MiMOSA, Ana Sia, PANTyRAiD, NastyNasty, Flying Lotus, Dark Party, Treasure Fingers, Downlink, Gladkill, Eoto, Eliot Lipp, Nosaj Thing, Ooah (of The Glitch Mob),Bluetech Live Band, Virtual Boy, Evol Intent, Ott, The New Deal, Ep3, Daedelus, Boombox, as well as afterparties for Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, STS9, etc. SEVEN D (Miami, FL) Music is my favorite form of self expression. I'm a Florida based Producer/Performer. The music that I create can be hard to describe within the confines of one specific genre. I like to experiment with different instrumentation, production techniques and song structure. I have been performing my original tracks while providing live harmonic accompaniment with an electronic keyboard. My personal music tastes are all over the map. I like my music to be an escape. I enjoy making sounds and rhythms that take you out of this world. Also featuring residents AFRO MONK and SKINNY HENDRIX! |
