HEROBUST Otherwise known as Hayden Kramer, HeRobust is an electronic producer from Atlanta, Georgia. In the short, two year existence of HeRobust, Kramer’s hip-hop inspired bass music has quickly garnered the attention of online media giants such as XLR8R, Vice, The New York Times, and Huffington Post. 2012 has seen a relentless release of music from Herobust, one Saturate Records double album “Late Night/Morning After”, the self released “Rob & Hood” ep, a Muti Records release of “Screw Loose” ep, the recent "OG Status", countless free remixes including the ever-popular "BUSTED" series. The busy release schedule has paid off, getting his tracks played out by the likes of Skrillex and 12th Planet, receiving online support by Mad Decent, and a support tour for Opiou and Vibesquad. 2012 was just a jump off for Kramer as 2013 will see tons more music, shows, and genre defying madness from the ever prolific HeRobust. Y DIZ www.soundcloud.com/ydiz Y Diz is the producer of the local band Telekinetic Walrus. He drops hypnotizing bass frequencies over intricate beats, venturing through all sorts of styles and sound crafting techniques. The audience will get low while grooving to the colorful rhythms of his production. He also collaborates with all sorts of local Miami artists including Afrobeta, Askultura, Beatmachines, Buffalo Brown, Candice Meyer, Cog Nomen, The Corner Stoners, Corinne Stevie, Dusthead, EdenGrey, E.Grizzly, Fitzroy, Komakazie, O.H.M.E, Sounduo and many more. AFRO MONK www.soundcloud.com/afromonk At a time when it seems like many producers and DJs are leaning more and more towards aggressive music such as brostep, Afro Monk is doing just the opposite and bringing the romance back to the dance floor with downtempo sounds and chilled-out future beats. Combining fluid melodies, sultry rhythms and hypnotic bass, Afro Monk uses lush yet cutting-edge electronic beats to create a smooth and sensual vibe. As a beat producer, DJ, music journalist and events promoter, Afro Monk is a cornerstone of the growing electronic arts community. His wildly popular bass music blog AfroMonk.com is the source where many fans look for new sounds and insightful commentary, which can also be found in his writings for The Untz and Big Up Magazine. SKINNY HENDRIX: http://soundcloud.com/skinny-hendrix Brady Jacob, AKA Skinny Hendrix, is a DJ/Producer from Miami, Florida that is quickly turning heads in the EDM world. His fresh blend of electro, dubstep, moombah, and more combined with his energetic and unfettered stage presence keeps dance floors in a frenzy all night long. After graduating from the University of Miami with a major in Entrepreneurship, Skinny immediately focused his energy towards his passion for electronic music. While attending Scratch DJ Academy, his natural talent behind the turntables instantly garnered attention from professors and colleagues. He then took to the road on a festival-hopping journey that culminated in an epic DJ set on stage at Bonnaroo. Now back in Miami, his most recent Stache Bash party packed the house at the Goose Lounge and ignited ample buzz around this young phenomenon. |
